Vedic Meditation is great for kids because absolutely effortless, it does not require any focus, concentration or paying attention to thoughts or activity. It very efficient at reducing stress and anxiety, which helps children tremendously in their academic studies, athletics, art and music, as well as socially.
Growing up, my coaches would shout at me, "get your head in the game". My school teachers would constantly remind me to "listen, pay attention". I was not alone in receiving these instructions. The demands on the playing field and in the classroom, as well as at home, were all too often overwhelming. When tested in these arenas, my performance reflected a mere portion my potential.
